interleukin-10

[‚in·tər¦lük ′ten]
(immunology)
An immunoregulatory cytokine produced by a subset of helper T cells as well as by B lymphocytes and some cells of the uterus during pregnancy, it inhibits secretion (and function) of cytokine by macrophages and the second population of helper T cells called Th1. Abbreviated IL-10.

c) Administration with BSE at 200mg/kg was also observed to significantly down regulate the levels of IL-1[beta], IL-6, TNF-[alpha], IFN-[gamma] and IL-10
As the previous searches stated that intense exercises cause superficial alternations on some anti-inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-[alpha], IL-6 and IL-10 in which if these happened changes might alter the relation of restrictive/no-restrictive cytokines [2], This matter has been more reported about the athletes who perform intense sport.
This regular walking also exerted systemic anti-inflammatory effects, as evidenced by a reduction in the IL-6 to IL-10 ratio and downregulation of T-lymphocyte and monocyte activation.
Plasma concentrations of IL-6, IL-10, IL-1ra, cortisol, and adrenaline were determined using quantitative sandwich-type enzyme-linked immunosorbant assay kits (IL-6, IL10, TNF-[alpha], IL-1ra: R&D Systems, Abingdon, United Kingdom; cortisol: DRG Instruments, Marburg, Germany; adrenaline: IBL International, Hamburg, Germany) according to the manufacturers' instructions.
The serum concentrations of IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, and macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) were determined in the Physiology Laboratory at a Biomedical Science Building in a Level I academic medical center.
We measured interleukin (IL)-1[beta], a proinflammatory cytokine, and IL-10, an antiinflammatory cytokine, in lipid-depleted fetal brain homogenates normalized to total protein (200 [micro]g/well; n = 7-8 brains/sex/group) (see Supplemental Material, p.
Similarly, men showed a more rapid age-related decline in the two cytokines IL-6 and IL-10.
Various single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) have been described in the IL-10 promoter region, both of distal and proximal promoter regions, with functional significance (7).
Meanwhile to continue supporting the NKPA, as its tanks and infantry pushed across the Han River south of Seoul, driving towards Suwon, the NKPAF's 55th Combined Aviation Division deployed seven short-ranged Yak-9P fighters and a similar number of Il-10 assault aircraft to the just-captured Kimpo AB, dispersing and camouflaging them to try and prevent discovery and destruction by FEAF bombers.
This study shows for the first time that there is a highly controlled process that determines when and where these cells produce IL-10," he stated.
The oxidant/antioxidant state was evaluated by measuring erythrocyte catalase (eCAT) and paraoxonase (PON1) activities, levels of thiobarbituric acid (e-TBARS), serum diene, total antioxidant activity (AOA), trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity (TEAC), ferric reducing ability of plasma (FRAP) and anti-inflammatory effects were assessed by measuring tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-[alpha], Interleukin (IL-6), IL-18, IL-10 and adiponectin levels.
