a city (until 1973 an urban-type settlement) in Odessa Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. It is a Black Sea port 11 km from the Akkarzha railroad station (on the Odessa-Artsyz line). Population 33,000 (1971). Factories for ship repair and for reinforced concrete structures are located in Il’ichevsk.



(until 1964, Norashen), an urban-type settlement, administrative center of Il’ichevsk Raion, Nakhichevan’ ASSR (part of the Azerbaijan SSR). It is a railroad station (Norashen) on the Yerevan-Dzhul’fa line. Il’ichevsk has a cotton-ginning plant.
