- Microsoft had filed a motion to have some fifty paragraphs of Netscape chief executive Jim Barksdale's written testimony deemed inadmissible as hearsay. Judge Jackson denied the motion since it wasn't a jury trial, saying he would admit all of the testimony but would "assign weight" to the supposed hearsay himself.
