Location:East of Palm Springs on Thousand Palms Road, 2 miles north of Ramon Road. There are currently no marked access roads to the property.
Activities:Covered wagon tours of oases.
Special Features:Along a line where the San Andreas Fault captures groundwater, native California fan palms thrive in great numbers. Indio Palms is a wild parkland that is part of the adjacent Coachella Valley Preserve. The nearest palm groves are relatively easy to reach from a trailhead and parking area 4-miles north of Indio.
