Inhulets

(ēnho͞olyĕts`), Rus. Ingulets, river, c.340 mi (550 km) long, in Ukraine. Rising in the Kirovohrad region, it flows through the Kryvyy Rih iron district and then south to join the Dnieper River above Kherson.

According to the main project Dzhankoi-Kherson railway crossed the Dnipro below the influx of the Inhulets. The most comfortable place for building was near Shyroke village above the town of Olesh-ky on the 14th verst of the line.
