Inversion Transistor

 

a germanium transistor in the manufacture of which inversion of the initial semiconductor material takes place; n-type conductivity is inverted to p-type conductivity by the introduction of copper and by hardening. Inversion transistors are used in high-frequency and pulse apparatus for various purposes.
