Iri
Iri (ēˈrēˈ), former city, North Jeolla (Cholla) prov., SW South Korea. An agricultural center and transportation hub, it was absorbed into Iksan.

Iri
(also Niri), a city in South Korea, in Cholla-Pukto Province. Population, 78,400 (1966). It is an important transport junction and the center of an agricultural region. Rice is refined in Iri, and alcohol products are produced there.
