Istomin, Eugene

Istomin, Eugene (George)

(1925–  ) pianist; born in New York City. After studies at the Curtis Institute he won the Leventritt Award in 1943 and went on to a distinguished international solo career, meanwhile often appearing with the Istomin-Stern-Rose Trio.
