Landry-Guillain-Barré syndrome
[lan′drē ¦gē‚yan bə′rā ‚sin‚drōm] (medicine)
A diffuse motor-neuron paresis, rapid in onset, and usually ascending and symmetrical in distribution, with proximal involvement greater than distal, and motor deficits greater than sensory. Also known as Guillain-Barré syndrome; Landry's paralysis.
