Special Features:Jenkins' Ferry is one of three Civil War battlegrounds in south central Arkansas that were part of the Union Army's Red River Campaign, the purpose of which was to take Texas away from the Confederate troops. The other two battlegrounds are Marks' Mills State Park and Poison Spring State Park (see separate listings).
