Hryniewiecki, Jerzy

Born Apr. 21, 1908, in what is now Tartu, Estonian SSR. Polish architect.

Beginning in 1926, Hryniewiecki studied at the Warsaw Polytechnical Institute. His projects, which represent a return to Polish functionalism. are distinguished by rationality and simplicity of form and by versatility of design.
