Jiguaní

 

a city in eastern Cuba, in Granma Province, on the Central Highway. Population, 10,700 (1970). Jiguaní has a railroad station. The city is the trading center of an agricultural region, and it has a tobacco industry. Manganese ores and marble are mined nearby.
