Kaakhka
an urban-type settlement, administrative center of Kaakhka Raion, Ashkhabad Oblast, Turkmen SSR. Located at the foot of the Kopetdag range. It has a railroad station on the Ashkhabad-Mary line, 129 km southeast of Ashkhabad. Population, 9,000 (1970). A plant for ginning cotton is located there. Kaakhka also has a people’s amateur theater.
