Kalinkovichi

 

a city (since 1926) in Gomel’ Oblast, Byelorussian SSR. Kalinkovichi is a railroad junction. Population, 26, 100 (1971). Kalinkovichi has a meat-packing plant and flour-milling and fruit-canning combines, as well as a machine-overhauling plant, a furniture factory, a state poultry farm, and factories producing roofing materials, articles of reinforced concrete, and chemical products for household use.
