Kalnciems

 

an urban-type settlement in Jelgava Raion, Latvian SSR, situated on the Lielupe River, 17 km north of theJelgava railway junction. Population, 3, 000 (1970). Kalnciemshas a building-materials combine (bricks, slag wool, heat-insulating panels, glass-fiber reinforced plastic).
