Kamskoe Ust’e


(formerly the village of Bogorodskoe), an urban-type settlement; administrative center of Kamskoe-Ust’e Raion, Tatar ASSR. Landing on the Kuibyshev Reservoir, opposite the mouth of the Kama River, 71 km east of the Karatun station on the Kazan’-Ul’ianovsk railroad line, 117 km south of Kazan. Gypsum is extracted near Kamskoe-Ust’e.
