Kanászduda

 

(also kanásztiildk), wind instrument of Hungarian herdsmen; it is an ox horn with a whittled wooden mouth-piece and no holes. The instrument is used mainly for rhythmicsignals, as well as for improvised melodies based on the natural(overtone) scale.
