Kao Yin-Hsiang

 

Died 1636. One of the main leaders of the Peasant War of 1628-45 in China. In 1628 he led a rebel unit in northern Shensi and by 1634 had several large units under his command. In 1636 he was captured by government troops and was taken to Peking and executed.
