Karabük

(kärä`bük), city (1990 pop. 104,869), N Turkey. It was built in the 1930s as the seat of the iron and steel industry of Turkey. Nearby are the Zonguldak coal fields.

Karabük

 

a city in northern Turkey, in Zonguldak vilayet. Located on the Ankara-Zonguldak railroad line. Population, 65, 000 (1970). It is the site of a metallurgical complex.

One of them was conducted in 2011 in Denizli city (Aegean region) and the other in 2014 in Karabuk (Black Sea region).
Similar protests were also held in almost every Turkish province, including Konya, Bursa, Antalya, Mugla, Manisa, Adana, Bartin, Karabuk, Samsun, Yozgat, Malatya, Gaziantep, Kahramanmaras, Sanliurfa, Sirnak and Diyarbakir.

When the wing shape differences of populations were analyzed by UPGM, the cluster analyses recognized two main groups of populations, one group comprising Afyon (890 m), Amasya (800 m), Artvin (960 m), Bolu (1200 m), Eskisehir (1170 m), Kastamonu (600 m) and Zonguldak (1050 m) while the second group comprised Bursa (700 m), Giresun (150 m), Sinop (160 m), Samsun (340 m), Karabuk (230 m) and Trabzon (200 m).
