Kazerun

 

a city in southwest Iran, in Fars Province, on theShiraz-Bushire highway. Population, 42, 000 (1971). Kazerun isthe trade center of an agricultural region (citrus fruits, datepalms, wheat, barley, rice, tobacco, and livestock-raising). Thecity has food industries.
