Keda

 

an urban-type settlement, administrative center of Keda Raion, Adzhar ASSR (Georgian SSR). Located in the valley of the Adzharistskali River (a tributary of the Chorokh), 41 km east of Batumi. A tea factory, a dairy, and a sawmill are there, as is an agricultural technicum. Keda also has a museum of local lore.
