Kemp Coast

a section of the antarctic coast, east of Enderby Land (56°-59°40’ E long.), on the Indian Ocean. Most of the area is covered by continental ice, which often forms high cliffs. This part of the coast was discovered in 1833 by the Englishman P. Kemp, captain of the Magnet, and was later named after him.
