Kikvidze

 

(until 1936, the stanitsa [large cossack village] of Preobrazhenskaia), an urban-type settlement; center of Kikvidze Raion, Volgograd Oblast, RSFSR. Located on the Buzuluk River (Don basin), 40 km northeast of the Filonovo railroad station (on the Volgograd-Povorino line). It has an incubation and poultry-breeding station. The settlement was named in honor of V. I. Kikvidze.

The ability of these mycorrhizae in stabilizing eroded, sandy land stabilization has also been proved (Kikvidze et al., 2010).
