Kirovo

 

an urban-type settlement in Donetsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. It is served by the Magdalinovka railroad station. Population, 17,900 (1971). Coal is mined there. It also has plants producing asphalt concrete materials and acid-proof items.


Kirovo

 

an urban-type settlement, administrative center of Kirovo Raion, Fergana Oblast, Uzbek SSR. Located 2 km from the Rapkan railroad station (on the Khavast-Kokand line), on the delta of the Isfara River. Population, 8,000 (1970). A cottonginning plant and a cotton-wool factory are located there.
