Kirschner, Marc Wallace

(1945–  ) cell biologist; born in Chicago, Ill. He taught biochemistry at Princeton (1972–78), then moved to the University of California: San Franciso (1978). He performed extensive research on cellular microtubule assembly, embryonic induction, and biochemical investigations of nucleic acids and cellular proteins.
