Kittyhawk

The world's first 1.3" hard drive, introduced in 1992 by HP for portable devices. Housed in a Type III PC Card, the pricey 20MB and 40MB drives were discontinued within a couple years. In 1998, IBM introduced a 1" drive (see Microdrive). See PC Card.
