Kobeliaki

 

a city, the administrative center of Kobeliaki Raion, Poltava Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, on the Vorskla River (a tributary of the Dnieper), 13 km from the Kobeliaki railroad station (on the Poltava-Kremenchug line). Population, 10,800 (1970). Kobeliaki was founded in the early 17th century. The city has clothing and felting factories and a brickyard.
