an urban-type settlement in Gatchina Raion, Leningrad Oblast, RSFSR.

Kommunar is located on the Izhora River (a tributary of the Neva), 2 km from the Antropshino station on the Leningrad-Dno line. The Kommunar factory, which makes paper and card-board, is located there.

an urban-type settlement in Shira Raion, Khakass Autonomous Oblast, Krasnoiarsk Krai, RSFSR, on the eastern slopes of the Kuznetsk Ala-Tau, 72 km southwest of the Shira station on the Abakan-Achinsk line. It has a gold mine and concentration plants.
