Korea scaleAlso called "K-scale," it is a list of behaviors for diagnosing Internet addiction in South Korea, one of the most high-tech countries in the world. The number of daily hours spent online and the person's mood when offline are major factors in the Korea scale. In the mid-2000s, the government identified Internet addiction as a serious condition affecting hundreds of thousands of Korean youths and developed remedial programs to combat it. See addiction.
