Koshtantau

 

a peak in the central part of the Greater Caucasus, part of the Bokovoi Range in the Kabarda-Balkar ASSR. It is located at the sources of the Cherek River, east of Dykhtau. Elevation, 5,151 m. It is composed of crystalline rock. There are snow and névé fields, as well as large glaciers, on its slopes.
