an urban-type settlement in Moscow Oblast, RSFSR, located 3 km from Liubertsy and 22 km southeast of Moscow. The lanichkino railroad station is in Kotel’niki. Population, 15,000 (1970). Kotel’niki has a building-material and structural-elements combine, a factory producing reinforced concrete panels, a repair plant for road-building machines, and a carpet factory.
