Krasnyi Profintern

 

(formerly, Verovka), an urban-type settlement in Donetsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR (Donbas). Rail-road station (Enakievo) on the Debal’tsevo-Krinichnaia line; population, 15,500 (1971). There is coal mining. It is the site of the OrdzhonikidzeugoP Combine (coal processing), a plant for the production of reinforced-concrete items, and the StroidetaP Plant (manufacture of building materials).


Krasnyi Profintern

 

(until 1945, Guzitsino), an urban-type settlement in Nekrasovskii Raion, Yaroslavl Oblast, RSFSR. Landing on the left bank of the Volga. It is connected to the Yaroslavl-Danilov railroad line by a branch line. Krasnyi Profintern is the site of the Yaroslavl Starch and Molasses Combine and a dairy.
