Kunsan

 

a city and port in South Korea, in the province of Cholla-pukto, on the southern bank of the estuary of the Kumgang on the Yellow Sea. Population, 112,400 (1970). The city has a shipyard and an industry involved in processing and exporting agricultural and fish products.
