Repino

 

(Kuokkala until 1948), an urban-type settlement in Leningrad Oblast, RSFSR, under jurisdiction of the Sestroretskii raion soviet of Leningrad. Located on the Gulf of Finland; railroad station 40 km northwest of Leningrad. A seaside resort, Repino has houses of rest, sanatoriums, and a tourist center. The I. E. Repin Museum-Country Estate, Penaty, is located in the settlement.
