Kyaring Tso

 

(also Cha-lin Hu), a lake in an intermontane basin of the Tibetan Plateau in China. Located at an elevation of 4,708 m, it is 65 km long and up to 15 km wide, with an area of 674 sq km. It drains into neighboring lake Tsikung Tso. The lake is frozen from November through May; it is rich in fish.
