Aurore, L’
a French daily newspaper published in Paris. Founded in 1944, it was called L’Aurore-France Libre until 1953 and then L’Aurore-Ce Matin-Le Pays. The newspaper speaks for the reactionary circles among the French bourgeoisie and is violently anticommunist. Circulation, about 409,000 copies (1975).
