In Figure 7, S-parameters of distributed 1-cell CRLH TL structure and equivalent
LC circuit model are presented.
When the antenna is near the sensor, the magnetic energy is transmitted by the inductance coil of the
LC circuit [10].
The
LC circuit selectors are available in three-, six- and eight-way configurations and can be stacked for up to 10-way circuits.
A resistance R is added to the
LC circuit to model the radiation, conductor, and dielectric losses.
Note that this behavior can be qualitatively predicted from the
LC circuit, since for very small holes the corresponding inductance, L, is also small, the capacitance, C, takes large values and the bandwidth of such resonators is known to be very narrow [25].
However, the attenuation pole location, which corresponds to the resonance frequency of the parallel
LC circuit, also shifts toward lower frequency range because of the fact that as the series inductance increases, the resonance frequency of the equivalent parallel
LC circuit decreases.
Resistor [R.sub.07] attenuates the external
LC circuit further and reduces the harmonies.
Hence the mushroom EBG can be modeled as an
LC circuit with inductance and capacitance given by the following equations:
Acquired signal is passed through a resonant
LC circuit. The center frequency of the contour is matched to the carrier frequency of the information signal, quality of the resonant circuit--4.
It makes use of the parallel
LC circuit per unit length mode,|4,5~ shown in Figure 2.
3, both the [jx.sub.s] block and [jb.sub.p] block can be realized with a parallel
LC circuit thus we get the circuit of the impedance transformer as shown in Fig.
Using the above formulas, a preliminary waveguide combiner structure was obtained; the cross-section of which is shown in Figure 3, below the prototype
LC circuit.
