Facilities:113 campsites (45 with electrical hookups) with modern restrooms and showers, 6 family cabins (rentals), day-use lodge (é), 3 open picnic shelters (é), playground, hiking trails, swimming beach and bathhouse, boat ramp, boat rentals, 30-acre lake.
Activities:Camping, swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, cross-country skiing.
Special Features:Lacey-Keosauqua is one of Iowa's largest and most picturesque state parks, whose natural features include hills, bluffs, and valleys along the Des Moines River. Overlooking the river in the northwest section of the park are 19 burial mounds, built by an ancient group of Woodland Culture Indians.

The program began on Thursday with a full day of indoor classroom instruction at Lacey-Keosauqua State Park Lodge, a rustic log building that offers the perfect setting among timbered ridges, and all the students watched and listened carefully as Barry discussed trophy whitetails, showed us aerial photos and video clips, drew diagrams of particular hunting setups, and talked about equipment that works best under hunting conditions.
