Ladushkin

 

(until 1946, Ludwigsort), a city in Bagrationovsk Raion, Kaliningrad Oblast, RSFSR, near the Gulf of Vistula of the Baltic Sea. A railroad station 29 km southwest of Kaliningrad. There is a creamery and a mink-breeding sovkhoz in La-dushkin. The city was founded in 1314 and was renamed in honor of I. M. Ladushkin, a Hero of the Soviet Union, who was killed in battle near Königsberg in March 1945.
