Lakinsk

 

(until 1969, the settlement Lakinskii), a city in Vladimir Oblast, RSFSR; a railroad station (Undol) on the Orekhovo-Zuevo-Vladimir line. Population, 15,300 (1972). Lakinsk has a spinning and weaving factory, a branch of the Vladimir Furniture Combine, a dairy combine, a brewery, a shop of the Vladimir Brick works, and a branch of the Viazniki Linen Technicum.
