Lasswell, Harold D. (Dwight)

(1902–78) political scientist; born in Donnellson, Ill. His behavioral approach to politics included work on decision-making processes or "policy sciences" that incorporated psychology, political science, and sociology. He taught at the University of Chicago (1922–38) and at Yale Law School (1946–70).
