Special Features:The office of three California governors (including Leland Stanford) during the 1860s, the mansion now serves as a museum and as California's official reception center, where the Governor and legislative leaders meet with dignitaries and business leaders from other states and countries. The 19,000-square-foot mansion has recently undergone a $22 million restoration.
