Lesogorsk

 

a city in Sakhalin Oblast, RSFSR, under the Uglegorsk city soviet. Lesogorsk is situated on the western coast of Sakhalin Island, at the mouth of the Lesogorka River, 196 km north of the Il’insk station. There is a logging and timber procurement establishment in the city. Lesogorsk manufactures building materials.

an urban-type settlement in Chuna Raion, Irkutsk Oblast, RSFSR, situated on the Chuna River (Enisei Basin) 10 km from the Chuna station on the Taishet-Lena line. The Chuna Sawmilling and Woodworking Combine is in the settlement.

an urban-type settlement in Shatki Raion, Gorky Oblast, RSFSR, located on the Shatki-Pervomaisk highway near the Lesogorsk railroad station. Lesogorsk has a transformer repair plant.
