Liakhovichi

 

a city (since 1940) and the administrative center of Liakhovichi Raion, Brest Oblast, Byelorussian SSR. It has a railroad station on the Baranovichi-Polesskie-Luninets line. Its chief industries are a woodworking combine, a cannery, a creamery, a flax-processing mill, and a plant making reinforced-concrete products. There is a sovkhoz technicum.
