Linear diffuser

An air-conditioning device that distributes air to a space from a linear slot, often at the terminals of the duct, but also along the run.

Air-conditioning is a blessing in this part of the world, but unless you want to stock up on pashminas, make sure that the wall-sited linear diffusers aren't issuing an Arctic-like chill down upon your diners -- especially the ladies in their minimalistic Armani evening dresses.
