Lockwood, Charles A. (Andrews)

(1890–1967) naval officer; born in Midland, Va. He served aboard submarines (1914–28) and commanded submarines of the South West Pacific Force (1942–43) and of the Pacific Fleet (1943–45). He was the naval inspector general (1946–47).
