Lord, Daniel A. (Aloysius)

(1881–1955) Catholic author, editor; born in Chicago. Ordained a Jesuit priest in 1923, he wrote numerous plays, pageants, and religious books and pamphlets and played a key role in reviving the devotional Sodality movement in the United States and broadening its scope.
