Location:In Los Angeles, between North Broadway and North Spring Street, near the Los Angeles river and El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument.
Facilities:Under development; an 18-acre interim park area includes a one-mile trail.
Activities:Hiking, bicycling.
Special Features:Park is the result of the efforts of a diverse coalition of local citizens, activists, and environmental justice advocates who worked together in a community effort to protect the land from industrial development and save it as a public park. The site ((formerly known as the "Cornfield Property") has significance and associations at many levels in the history of Los Angeles.
