Malclés, Louise Noëlle
Born in 1900. French bibliographer, popularizer of important international bibliographic sources for scientific and scholarly research. Head librarian at the University of Paris.
Malclès’ principal works are Les Sources du travail bibliographique (vols. 1-3, in four books 1950-58), Bibliographie (1956; 3rd ed., 1967), Manuel de bibliographic (1963; 2nd ed., 1969), and Bibliographic Services Throughout the World: First and Second Annual Reports, 1951-52, 1952-53 (UNESCO, 1955; published in English and French).
