Mena
a city (settlement until 1966) and administrative center of Mena Raion, Chernigov Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, on the Mena River (a tributary of the Desna). Population, 10,600 (1973). The city has a railroad station on the Gomer-Bakhmach line. Local industries include a tobacco fermentation plant, a cannery, a creamery, a flax and hemp processing plant, and a factory producing articles made of willow.
